The 1 3 2 6 Baccarat System is pretty straightforward and simple to use. It is not a loss chasing system, and is designed to profit from short winning streaks, with built in loss limiting.
As the name suggests, your betting sequence is 1, 3, 2, 6.
When you lose at any place in the sequence you go back to the beginning and start over. If you win all four bets you will have made a profit of 12 betting units.
This is a good example of a positive progressive system – it doesn’t force you to chase your losses and the bet sizes should not spiral out of control, unlike with some other Baccarat Systems.
Your first bet will be 1 betting unit – you should have decided beforehand what size units to use. If that bet loses your next bet will be 1 unit again.
When you win your first bet your next bet will be 3 units. Should that bet lose go back to the beginning. If it wins, your next bet will be 2 units. Again, if you lose the third bet, go back to the start. If it wins your final bet will be 6 units. Win or lose on the fourth bet, you go back to the start for another sequence.
How the 1 3 2 6 system works
The full breakdown of this betting strategy is as follows;
Lose the first hand, loss is 1 unit.
Win the first but lose the second, your loss is 2 units ( +1 -3 )
Win the first two but lose the third, you will have made a profit of 2 units ( +1 +3 -2)
Win the first three but lose the fourth, you will be even ( +1 +3 +2 -6 )
And finally, if you win all four bets, your profit will be 12 units ( +1 +3 +2 +6)
Remember that this system, and most others, work best on an even bet proposition (1:1), so in Baccarat you should be betting on the Player, not the banker.
If you change the last bet from 6 – which takes all the profit from the first three winning bets – to something smaller, you can increase your flow of small wins at the cost of some of your chips from the one bigger win.
The theory behind this method of gambling is that there will always be runs or streaks of wins and losses. Sometimes you will experience those horrificly long and ruinous losing streaks, and even more rarely you will have an incredible, life changing, winning streak.
But the vast majority of runs will be for two or three wins or losses in a row. This system will make the most of those small runs, and when you get four in a row, which is not really that difficult, you will see a nice profit, without having risked ruin on the way there.
Advantages and disadvantages
Advantages
The main advantage of this betting strategy is that your losses will be limited. As you are not chasing your losses, you should not find yourself betting ever increasing amounts just to win back your own losses.
Disadvantages
Other than the fact that this is a system, and systems do not alter the odds one bit, there are no real disadvantages with this gambling method. You are giving up on any chance of a really big win.
And you won’t be able to capitalize on a long winning streak. But that is not a bad trade off for the possibility of slow, but steady, gains.
Another use for this methodology is for spotting hot or cold tables in a real life casino. But that could be adapted to online gambling by betting the 1326 system to see if a particular online casino suits you or not.
